Lauro brings extensive experience in financial control and management of businesses, acquired over 12 years of service at a number of businesses predominantly in the financial services sector.
Prior to joining Gemi Investments, Lauro served as the Chief Financial Officer of One Investment Group, an independent fiduciary and funds administration business overseeing over 300 funds and managing $40 billion in assets for multiple investment managers. In this role, Lauro was responsible for the financial and AFSL reporting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, statutory law and accounting standards across the group.
Lauro is a Certified Practicing Accountant, holds an Advanced Diploma in Accounting (with Distinction) from the Sydney Institute of TAFE, and a Bachelor of Science majoring in Management Accounting from Angeles University Foundation Philippines.
