Prior to joining Gemi Investments, Reegan spent 3 years abroad in Toronto, Canada, working within the Development Finance Group for a large non-bank mortgage lender, MCAP. MCAP is one of Canada’s largest independent mortgage finance companies with in excess of $100 billion in assets under management with 800 employees across 8 offices. Whilst at MCAP, Reegan was responsible for the analysis, underwriting and ongoing management of residential development and construction loans for deal sizes up to $150 million.
In 2013, Reegan began his property finance career in Brisbane, working as an Analyst for Balmain Commercial, a commercial and residential property mortgage broking and finance specialist. During his time at Balmain, Reegan gained valuable experience arranging finance across a variety of asset classes and capital structures. Prior to joining Balmain Commercial, Reegan gained analyst experience at Deloitte Brisbane.
Reegan holds both a Bachelors of Commerce & Economics from the University of Queensland.
